From birth to age 20, I grew up in Fort.McMurray, Alberta, a northern Canadian town known for its oil mining. But as a kid, I knew it as an oasis of nature, jumping on the quad or the snowmobile and taking it right from my house and into the forest - all before the age of 10. I walked to school, I played hockey under the Northern Lights, and I went fishing with my dad.
It was a unique childhood, but as I got older, the city changed and I wanted to chase my dreams.

We made this video because Karla, being from Mexico City, was amazed about my small-town life. It's was a totally different world compared to hers.

It has been roughly 7 years since I've been back and of course, Canada's largest natural disaster occurred since then, changing the landscape of the city drastically.
